About
A Bit of Background
Nile fount excursion foundation is a community based organisation committed to supporting and help vulnerable, needy street children and orphans and uplift their condition of living. Due to the high level of poverty in Uganda the heavy burden of school fees, food and medical care, parents and guardians are many times forced to give up on their responsibilities which results into children to go on the streets and other results into using of drugs and they turn into a threat to the society. The organisation pursues strategies of services which include maintaining orphanages, abandoned or street children, supply of food, we offset medical bills of children that are indigent, campaigning against child abuse, teenage parenting and we do hold on a yearly basis seminars and workshop on topical and contemporary issues affecting the less privileged with a view of making our society a better place.
